During a recent trip to Pycon, some of our Code Monkeys made a stop over at Georgia Tech as guests of the GT ACM to share some of our python knowledge.
We presented on the fundamentals of Python web programming, the Web Server Gateway Interface. (See the deck for “I drink my WSGI clear”; the title is a reference to GT fight song ). We were pleasantly surprised to have such a great turnout of enthusiastic Yellow Jackets!
After the presentation, we talked shop with folks about their projects and our experiences. It’s nice to see folks not waiting till they graduate to dive right in and getting their hands dirty building cool web applications like http://onlyattech.net.
We are definitely looking forward to coming back to Georgia Tech in the future! As the jackets say on game day “To hell with Georgia!”
