What’s SurveyMonkey Contribute, you ask? It’s a way for people to share their opinions in exchange for earning money for charities. Every time a Contribute member takes a survey, we make a donation to a charity of his or her choice. We started out with 12 charities in April 2011, and our program has been growing ever since!
This Fall, we partnered with an additional 8 charities and added some great new features to the site. We’ve categorized the charities, making it easier for you to find one that support your favorite cause. We also set up a special page for each organization, where you can find a link to their site, the number of supporting members, and the total amount they’ve raised to date.
In the past three months alone, our members raised $20,976 for Contribute charities. This brings the total amount SurveyMonkey has donated on their behalf to around $60,000! Amazing!
Our goal is to give a lot more, so we need your help.

Yes! It’s free for charities to submit an application to be included in our database. Charities can fill out the form here.

What if I (as the surveyor) am willing to contribute to a charity for each survey that is filled out? Does SM have a way to incentivize survey participants by indicating that XYZ company will contribute XX dollars to the survey of their choice?

Yes, you could do that, but you would need to build that into the survey on your end.
The best option would be to use our Coupon reward feature to offer a charitable discount to your survey respondents. Just be sure to ask which charity the respondent would like to donate to, at some point in the survey.
