Introducing Our New Logged-in Home Page

At SurveyMonkey, we drink our own monkey Kool-Aid. We use our tool to gain insights about our customers to make decisions. Last year we surveyed our customers to ask them what would be most helpful when getting started with their surveys. Over half of the respondents said they wanted tips on how to design a survey and collect responses.

Well, we listened to your feedback and are excited to announce our new Logged-in Home Page!  It’s the perfect place to discover new features and see a summary of your most active surveys.  Plus, it gives us a place to share tips, tricks and advanced content for our expert customers. This page is an extension of our previous Getting Started page: you can always get back to it by clicking Home in the header.

Logged-in Home is Customized for You

If you haven’t yet created a survey, we’ll provide an easy step-by-step guide to help you get started.  Here’s what it looks like:

Once you’ve started creating a survey, we’ll give you quick access to finish creating that survey and customize the content just for you.   For example, we’ll switch the get started guide to methodology tips to help you get the best insights possible from your survey:

As always, we’d love to hear your feedback, so let us know what you think of our new Logged in Home experience by completing this short survey.

  9. I love the flexibility of SurveyMonkey!
I DO however wish that MY ADDRESS BOOK could go back on the main toolbar where I could easily access it at any time. Some of my group addresses are lists of employees or clients and these and these can be a little fluid. It would be nice to be able to pop in and update them between surveys. Right now I can’t seem to access them without preparing a survey
    just my 2 cents -barbara

    • Thank you Barabara! That’s exactly the kind of feedback we want to hear from you! We’re currently in the process of designing our new survey creation process, and we’d love to hear more of your feedback. Give it a test drive, and let us know your thoughts! http://blog.surveymonkey.com/blog/2012/04/04/new-create-interface/

  10. Hi There – cool new management page, love it!
I’m trying to figure out how I can create a survey that will allow me to customize the front part of the survey to the person I’m sending it to, without compromising the back-end tabulations.

In essence, right now my customer feedback survey goes out to all our customers, butthey have to fill out their name, property and other info… what I want to do is send a survey with the customer info ‘pre-filled’ without having individual surveys created for each customer… Hope this makes sense – can you point me to training video/content that can walk me through this feature or if you have or not have this feature? Thank You!!
