Monkeys at SXSW 2012

To beer or not to beer...There is no question

We’re back from SXSW! This year several of us from the team when down to Austin to soak in all that is the largest interactive conference in world. We ate, we drank, we talked shop with our peers, and we went to interesting panels. Personally, I went to a panel on the future of browser development tools that I learned quite a bit from. Kevin and I went to a crazy panel on Japanese design were we saw an internet connected teddy bear that would display video of a face on it and mimic your arm motions. Only at SXSW folks.

We also threw an epic party! Here’s some highlights:

The Balcony at Shakespeare's

Kareem, Jane, and Joha

Bacon at Bacon

Chris and Kate

The Welcome Tables

I “worked the entrance” for a while that night. I think we had around 4,000 people RSVP for the party, so it quickly became too cumbersome to check each one. Instead, I just required a triple-high-five from most folks. So if you came by that night and got a triple-high-five from me, thank you, I just may be the world record holder for number of triple-high-fives in a one hour period. And to everyone who came, thank you! It was a howling good time.
